#2 Skrevet Desember 9, 2008 Litt info jeg fant: These are all original core turbos from Audi/VW's. We totally disassemble them, clean them, inspect them and replace any parts that do not meet new specifications. Then we rebuild them with the upgraded heavy duty journal bearing, and sell the with a full warranty. So, they are remanufactured. Here is the story on the 058 145 703J turbos, these are the turbos that we sell on our website, we hope this will answer some questions. The information we will provide you with below is collected from various sources and personal experience with these turbos over the years, all part # information is directly from the Borg Warner Turbo Systems "Turbo Driven interactive hidden system", this stem has been updated to the latest version so that all of the information is as current as possible. The part # for the turbos we sell is 5303 970 0029 and the reference # is 058 145 703J. These are the used on the Audi A4/A6 1.8T from 1999-01 to 2002-11. These turbos will also replace the turbos on the 1995-02 up to 1998-12. The reference #'s for the older turbos is the same except for the last letter 058 145 703, the letters can be C, E, H, L, and K. After 2002-12 the A4/B6 1.8t motor used a different turbo its part # is 5303 988 0073 and the reference # for this turbo is 06B 145 703 B. This turbo has the same a slightly larger compressor wheel than the K04-015 turbo and the same size turbine wheel. This turbo is probably the biggest reason that this model makes 190HP instead of the old 150HP version. We would think that this last turbo listed here is what is call the K03 Sport turbo, although Borg Warner/KKK do not call it this in any of there information. We have checked the part #'s of the internal parts of each of all of the above listed turbos. From this point forward we will refer to them as follows: K04-015, K03-029, and the K03-073 (or the K03 Sport). We will list the internal parts that are the same first, then the differences below that. These are the parts that are the same on all 3 turbos, bearing housing, retaining rings, locking clip, turbine shaft and wheel assembly, compressor end piston ring, thrust ring, thrust ring, flinger sleeve, turbine end piston ring, oil deflector shield, compressor o-ring, shaft nut, clamp plates, and the heat shield. These are the parts that are different, journal bearing, compressor wheels, backing plates and compressor housings, turbine housings, and actuator/adjustment. Additionally, the turbine housing on the k03-029 and the k03-073 is the same. Also, the compressor wheel for the K03-073 is actually a little larger than the K04-015 turbo and uses Borg Warner's extended tip technology. This makes the wheel more efficient, and have a wider map. The fins are longer, and more curved than the K04-015 compressor wheel. When we upgrade the K03-029 turbo we upgrade the compressor wheel, backing plate and the compressor housing is bored to K04 specifications. We also use the heavy duty journal bearing from the K04 in our turbo rebuilds. The last thing we modify in our turbos is the wastegate adjustment to match the K04-015 setting. This leaves the only part that is not the same or better than the K04-015 spec is the turbine housing, from all of our measurements they seem to be the same, and to perform the same. We hope this has cleared up some of the confusion of these turbos and there upgrades, we know that there will be more questions, ask them at any time. #3 Skrevet Desember 10, 2008 Turboen burde passe. Er vel samme utvendige mål, men med forskjellig actuator, og litt forskjell på turbinbladene 0 Del dette innlegget Lenke til innlegg Del på andre sider Flere delingsalternativer...
