#3 Skrevet September 27, 2012 http://audiforum.us/threads/steering-wheel-swap.15245/ Yes it is totally possible. Not exactly an easy retrofit as the C5 A6 has no preparation (wiring, control units, etc.) for this if it wasn't ordered at the time of purchase. You will need the wheel and new airbag with the MF buttons. You will also need a new steering wheel control unit (sits under the dash driver side). The unit is different for tiptronic and non-tiptronic steering wheels. Tha last thing you will need is a canceling ring that sits between the steering wheel and the steering column. Depending on the number of buttons you have (6 or 8), you will have to run wires from the canceling ring to the control unit (and possibly from there to the tiptronic switch). There is a whole document written on the wheel upgrade somewhere on this forum, although it is mostly about research and not so much about the actual work. All in all, it is not difficult but requires some understanding of the Audi electronics. ETKA and Elsa are of priceless help. 0 Del dette innlegget Lenke til innlegg Del på andre sider Flere delingsalternativer...
